Will rogers 137th birthday was honored by Palomino horse organizations

November 7, 2016, Tulsa, OK - An influential Cherokee cowboy, still recognized by name today from his vast and tremendous contributions to Oklahoma and the United States of America was honored this weekend by the Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation, Oklahoma Palomino Exhibitors Association and Palomino Horse Breeders of America in Claremore, Okla. on November 6, 2016.

The event started with a ceremonial wreath laying at his tomb at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum yesterday and climaxed with the Foundation being represented as the Grand Marshal at the Will Rogers Days Parade as people gathered along Will Rogers Boulevard to pay respect and  celebrate his 137th birthday. Live feed was available on Facebook, and for your viewing pleasure, and heartfelt support of Will Rogers, and his love of Comanche, his "yella pony", it comes with great honor that the Palomino Heritage Foundation was present to add to the preservation of the history of the Palomino horse. The live videos have been saved and can be viewed on the Palomino Heritage Foundation's historical archives.
