We invite you to visit the Palomino Heritage Museum to learn about the history of the Palomino horse. You can see several parade saddles and historic artifacts on display, research significant industry contributions, and discover stories ranging from backyard relationships to silver screen heroes, and passionate breeders to powerful, world-changing innovators.

November 3, 2016 - The 2016 Will Rogers Days Parade is this weekend in Claremore, OK. The Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation will commemorate Will Rogers at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2016 followed by a parade led by the essence of Will Rogers on his Golden Palomino as the Grand Marshal. The parade starts at 2 p.m. later that afternoon.
October 12, 2016 - The Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation (PHBHF) is excited to embrace an important part of their history at the Will Rogers Memorial in Claremore, Okla. On November 6, 2016, “Will” and his favorite horse “Comanche” will once again lead supporters and friends downtown.

Ted Flowers (1914-1976)

Thank you to the Curtis and Elizabeth Corson family of New Jersey for donating an original (circa early 1950s) Ted Flowers Silver Parade Saddle to the Heritage Foundation. This saddle is proudly on display now as you come into the museum. It is a beautiful piece of work and represents such an important time in the history of the Palomino horse. Read more
