The Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation is proud to announce a special exhibit at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum and the donation of a Golden Palomino at Will's Birthplace Ranch to commemorate "Comanche" as they prepare to be the Grand Marshals at this year's Will Rogers Days Parade in Claremore, Okla., on November 6, 2016.

July 23, 2016 - The day was Nov. 4, 1938, the 59th anniversary of Will Rogers birthday on an Indian Territory ranch. Thousands of people swarmed over a hillside where Will once planned a retirement home. On that day the Will Rogers Memorial opened to fanfare, never to be repeated.

The Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation is excited to announce the public launch of palominoheritage.com as exhibitors and enthusiasts prepare for the 75th Anniversary of the Palomino Horse Breeders of America celebration at the 2016 PHBA World Championship Show in Tunica, Miss.

The Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation is happy to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Palomino Horse Breeders of America. During March, at the PHBA Convention, the 75th Anniversary Publication of PHBA’s history was unveiled and distributed to the attendees along with a bag full of big and little gifts from various organizations as well as breeders, training stables and other equine related enterprises.

At the suggestion of Chester R. Upham, a group of interested Palomino owners and enthusiasts met at his Mandeville Canyon Ranch for the purpose of forming a Palomino registry and association. Read more

Ted Flowers (1914-1976)

Thank you to the Curtis and Elizabeth Corson family of New Jersey for donating an original (circa early 1950s) Ted Flowers Silver Parade Saddle to the Heritage Foundation. This saddle is proudly on display now as you come into the museum. It is a beautiful piece of work and represents such an important time in the history of the Palomino horse. Read more

New Palomino Horse of the Year Award Unveiled

The Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation (PHBHF) debuted the Palomino Horse Breeders Heritage Foundation Horse of the Year at the 2019 Palomino Horse Breeders of America (PHBA) Annual Convention on March 16 in Tulsa, OK. Read more
